The customer experience (CX) practice has been dramatically growing throughout the last few years. A lot of companies are integrating this practice into their organizational charts and looking to hire transformational leaders that are able to spearhead the change in the age of the customer. As the skills and expertise needed by those leaders vary by perspective, the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), as a non-profit independent organization, established the Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) as the first industry wide, standardized credential for customer experience practitioners to showcase their expertise and standing in the field.

The CCXP measures the skills of the practitioners in the following six customer experience core competencies:

What are the benefits of CCXP?

The CCXP offers mutual benefit for both practitioners and employers. Practitioners can endorse their expertise and prove that they possess the needed skills to operate and perform by utilizing a clear framework. On the other hand, employers can ensure that they are acquiring the right expertise to deliver on the job mandate and reflect their commitment to the to customer experience excellence.

How to get CCXP resources?

As it genuinely measures your expertise and knowledge of the practice, the CCXP is not an easy exam to pass. However, there are available resources that can assist practitioners to map their minds and dig deep into the knowledge areas.

As an Authorized Resource and Training (ART) provider for the CCXP, I am organizing a course under the name Customer Experience Bootcamp, which will not only prepare those practitioners that are planning to sit for the exam, but also digs deep into each of the CX competencies. It will cover both theoretical and practical examples that will enrich the engagement of those practitioners with the field.

The bootcamp will be taking place on the 12th and 13th of March at the Address Hotel in Dubai.

What are the top 10 key takeaways of the bootcamp?

  1. Understand the 6 competencies of the customer experience discipline
  2. Develop a holistic Customer Experience Ecosystem
  3. Learn about major trends and best practices in the CX field
  4. Get hands on practice on CX Design Methodologies
  5. Identify your personal and organizational CX capability gaps

What are the modules that will be covered during the bootcamp?

To set the expectations on the course modules, the training demo below will give details on each module while linking it to the CCXP competencies.

The CCXP Certification process

After completing the bootcamp, participants who are interested to become certified will need to submit an application with the CXPA at the CCXP website. After confirming eligibility and upon approval of the application, applicants can schedule the date, time and location of the exam at one of the ISO Quality Testing locations.
